This is a plain-language summary intended to be clear and honest. It is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer — we'll formalise the language before launch.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details — your email address when you sign up.
  • Your photos — the images you upload and the enhanced versions we generate for you.
  • Usage data — basic information about how you use the service, used to operate and improve it.
  • Anonymous trials — if you try DishReady without an account, we collect a device fingerprint and IP address to prevent abuse of the free trial. No account or email is required for a trial.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the service — storing your photos and generating enhanced images.
  • To prevent abuse and fraud — particularly on anonymous free trials.
  • To communicate with you — service messages and the retention reminder before images are removed.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Service providers we rely on

To run DishReady we share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers, each used only for its stated purpose:

  • Supabase — accounts and database.
  • Cloudflare R2 — image storage.
  • Kie.AI — AI image generation (your photo is sent to produce the enhanced versions).
  • Lemon Squeezy — payments, as our Merchant of Record.
  • Resend — sending transactional and notification emails.

4. Anonymous trial data

The device fingerprint and IP address from an anonymous trial are used only to enforce free-trial limits. If you later create an account, the images from your trial can be claimed into that account.

5. How long we keep your data

Uploaded photos and generated images are kept for up to 12 months (365 days) from your most recent activity, as described in our Terms of Service. Account data is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to close your account. Contact us using the email below and we'll help.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to make the app work. Anonymous trials use a device fingerprint (computed in your browser) to enforce trial limits. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

8. Children

DishReady is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children. Please don't use it if you are under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
